Welcome to The Pivot Mind

This is a place for ideas, inquiry, and reflection on the questions that arise as our world changes around us.

The writings gathered here explore leadership, enterprise, collaboration, wisdom, and institutions. Underneath all of it is one continuing interest: the human experience of living and acting in a changing world, and what it takes to see more clearly what is changing, what those changes ask of us, and how we might respond meaningfully rather than simply react.

The Pivot Mind is itself evolving. For now, I invite you to read, explore, and follow the questions wherever they may lead.

We have never possessed greater power to shape the world, yet seldom have we been less certain how to inhabit it well.

This book asks what becomes of persons, institutions, and societies when wisdom is no longer formed in the ordinary practices of life — when trust grows fragile, and grace is no longer recognized as the quiet force that sustains our common life. It moves from the crisis of wisdom and its recovery, through the shape of grace and its architecture, to what it looks like when the world begins to move again.

It isn't a leadership framework, and it isn't a call to recover some vanished past. It's the doorway this body of work opens onto philosophy, institutions, and society directly — the same ground Watering Words enters through faith, and The Craft of Leadership enters through practice.

Wisdom, Grace & Society is available now in paperback and ebook.
